We will be celebrating the 30 years of Food Not Bombs from the 14th to 16th of May 2010 in the city of Monterrey, Mexico. For this reason, and in reply of of the concern from some chapters already confirmed, we open the city to all the chapters in the World who wish be part of the Celebration the other side of Rio Bravo.

The invitation is for celebrating the first 30 years of Food Not Bombs with Workshops, sharing of experiences, food cooking and sharing. The celebration starts with a tour thru points of Activism in this Northern city of Mexico; followed by a day of Workshops and esperiences sharing, and proporsals for linking and strenghting the efforts of the participating chapters, closing with a Food Not Bombs table and the Festival for the Active Peace.

We feel this is a great chance for different groups to share and see that our work is not so different, and that together, even when kilometers of distance separate us, we are making a change in our societies. It is a great chance for the persons that for inmigration documents are not allow to get into the USA for sharing the moment with chapters from all over the World in Monterrey, Mexico..
