Many people say Keith's presentation has inspired them to feed the hungry and work for peace and justice. He is funny and optimistic even though he has spent nearly two years in jail for his work with Food Not Bombs. Keith helped start the all volunteer global movement Food Not Bombs in 1980 and he still enjoys feeding the hungry. The Food Not Bombs movement collects food and shares vegetarian meals with the hungry as well as provides food at protests and concerts. There are Food Not Bombs groups all over the world. In each community they not only feed the hungry but they work for solutions to all kinds of problems. Keith is excited to share his storys of working to end poverty and violence in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Food Not Bombs co-founder Keith McHenry volunteers to assist people start Food Not Bombs groups in their community, support the groups that are already active and organize presentations about peace and social justice. Keith also volunteer with Taos Food Not Bombs, and other local community efforts.
